Track Athlete of the Week
 
Rita Marcotte – Keene State College
Freshman, Heath, Mass.

Competing at the Smith College Invitational, Marcotte won the 800 and 1,500-meters races. She crossed the finish line with times of 2:239.96 and 4:56.04, respectively. Marcotte qualified for the New England Division III Championships in the 1500. The freshman was also named Little East Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Field Athlete of the Week
 
Alyssa Pirinelli - St. Lawrence University
Freshman, North Tonowanda, N.Y.

In the opening meet of her college career, Pirinelli provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championship in the shot put with a throw of 13.70m, breaking the school record by almost two meters.  She was also named Liberty League Field Performer of the Week
