Track Athlete of the Week
 
Nicole Plante  - University of Massachusetts, Lowell
Senior, North Adams, Mass.

Plante placed second overall and first among collegiate runners in the mile at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational, posting a time of 5:07.29, the second-fastest time in UMass Lowell history and just .25 seconds off the school record. The senior was also named Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Field Athlete of the Week
 
Toni-Marie Henry  - University of Massachusetts, Lowell
Senior, Springfield, Ma.

Henry shattered the school record for the second time in three weeks by placing third overall and tops among collegians in the triple jump at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational with a distance of 40' 4.75'' to eclipse her previous mark of 40' 3.25''. The senior is currently ranked No. 2 in the country, and was named Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.
