Track Athlete of the Week

Mandela Graves-Fulgham – UConn
Sophomore, Shutesbury, MA

At the BU St. Valentine Invitational Saturday Graves-Fulgham won the 400m dash and set a new school record in the process with a time of 54.72, a record which sophomore Alyssa Evering (Bel Air, Md.) broke in the same event just one week ago at the Yale Invitational.

Co-Field Athletes of the Week

Melanie Buczko - Bucknell
Senior, Butler, PA

Buczko cleared a NCAA provisional and an ECAC mark in the pole vault at the Bucknell Winter Classic. Her 4.07 meters mark was good for first place in the event. She was also named Patriot League MF-Athletic Female Field Performer of the Week.

Kyra James – Syracuse
Senior, Danbury, CT

James won two events at a meet Binghamton at Albany. She finished first in the shot put with an ECAC- and BIG EAST-qualifying mark of 13.79m. She also qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in the weight throw, placing first with a distance of 15.44m
