Track Athlete of the Week
 
Diana Purtz – University Vermont
Junior, Powell, OH

Purtz picked up a pair of first place finishes at a tri-meet with Dartmouth and New Hampshire. She won the mile with a time of 5:00.64, beating her closest competitor by eleven seconds. Purtz also won the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:59.27. The junior was also named America East Women’s Track Performer of the Week.
 
Field Athlete of the Week
 
Marjorie Grap – Bucknell University
Senior, Van Etten, NY

Grap won the shot put and weight throw, qualifying for the ECAC Championships in both events. Her 19.84-meter mark in the weight throw was a NCAA provisional qualifying mark. The senior was also named Patriot League M-F Athletic Female Field Performer of the Week.
