Track Athlete of the Week

Denele DeVerteuil - Long Island University-Brooklyn
Junior, Trinidad & Tobago

DeVerteuil finished second in the 500-meter and third in the 1000-meter, respectively, at the Seton Hall New Year's Classic. The junior came within 0.71 seconds of the ECAC qualifying standard in the 500-meter with a time of 1:16.71.

Field Athlete of the Week

Heather Patton - Long Island University-Brooklyn
Junior, Bowie, Md.

Patton finished second in the long jump with a distance of 5.22 meters at the Seton Hall New Year's Invitational.
