Hyland set a UMBC record with her runner-up performance at the Penn State National Invitational in the 3000-meter. The junior's time of 9:40.42 is best in the America East this season.
Field Athlete of the Week
Jacqui Charnigo - U.S. Naval Academy
Senior, Medina,
Ohio
Charnigo claimed first place in the pole vault and runner-up in the high jump at the GMU Patriot Games. The senior met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard and broke the school record in the pole vault with a score of 3.95 meters.

Lyons completed the 800-meter run in 2:18.75 at the Great Dane Classic. The freshman lowered her own school record and was the top finisher among Division II and Division III competitors.
Lyra Clark - University of Massachusetts-Lowell
Freshman, Nashua,
N.H.
Clark placed first among Division II and Division III runners at the Boston University Terrier Invitational in the mile with a time of 5:05. The freshman broke the UMass Lowell school record with her performance.

O'Connell captured the shot put at the Wesleyan University Invitational with a toss of 11.61 meters.

Track Athlete of the Week
Stephanie Herrick - The

Herrick produced a solid effort at the Princeton Relays, twice meeting NCAA provisional qualifying standards. The junior placed first in the mile with a time of 5:00.91 and also completed the 800-meters in a time of 2:16.83.

Blamy claimed the top spot in the high jump at the Boston University Terrier Invitational. The senior recorded a school record leap of 5.75 feet, which automatically qualifies her for the NCAA Division III Championship.
Monique Riddick - Montclair

Riddick took first place in the shot put at the Great Dane Classic with an automatic NCAA qualifying toss of 13.95 meters.
