Swimmer of the Week
Hannah Galey - Columbia
University
Junior, Freestyle, Clarksburg, W.
Va.
Galey had an impressive showing this week as the Lions defeated Penn and Wagner. The junior won seven events, including three individual events and four relays. Galey took first in both the 50-yard freestyle (24.11) and 100-yard freestyle (51.60), and in two relays against the Quakers. She then finished on top in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.76) and two relays against the Seahawks.
Diver of the Week
Tess Waresmith - Boston
University
Junior, Diver, Dover, Mass.
Waresmith recorded scores of 289.65 and 337.35 to finish first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events, respectively, against Maine.

Co-Swimmers of the Week
Kristen Frost - Southern
Connecticut State
University
Sophomore, Freestyle/IM,
Madison, Conn.
Frost won two individual events and one relay in a meet against Fairfield and Yale. The sophomore finished first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:09.50) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:32.09), and was a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay squad that took first place.
Liza Connolly - Bentley

Connolly was the top finisher in both the 50-yard freestyle (25.68) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:28.27) in a dual meet against UMass-Dartmouth. The senior also anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished in first place.
Diver of the Week
Emily Travers - Bentley

Freshman, Diver, Brentwood, N.H.
Travers placed first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events with scores of 193.12 and 207.74, respectively, against UMass-Dartmouth.
Division III
Swimmer of the Week
Becky Giles - Westminster
College
Senior, Backstroke/IM/Butterfly,
Johnstown, Pa.
Giles had an impressive week as she won five individual events and one relay, while Westminster won dual meets against Chatham and Bethany. The senior finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:27.31), the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.61), and the 200-yard butterfly (2:15.33) against Chatham. She followed up that performance with a win in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.37) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:16.23) at Bethany.
Diver of the Week
Lindsay Gardel - Tufts
University
Sophomore, Diver, Wayland, Mass.
Gardel finished second in both the 1-meter and 3-mter dive events in a meet against Brandeis. The sophomore recorded scores that are among the highest in the NESCAC this season.
