Division I

Co-Swimmers of the Week

Agnes Mago - University of Pittsburgh
Junior, Fly/Free/IM,
Kecskemet, Hungary

Mago finished first in two individual events, the 200 individual medley and the 500 freestyle, while contributing to the winning squad in the 400 freestyle relay.  The junior posted times of 2:07.81 in the 200 IM and 5:01.04 in the 500 free. The victory in the 400 free relay, the last event of the meet, propelled Pitt past conference foe West Virginia and improved the Panthers record to 5-0.

Katy Hinkle - Harvard University
Freshman, Sprint Free,
Arlington, Va. 

Hinkle led the Crimson past Penn with three victories.  The freshman won two individual events, the 100 backstroke (58.57) and 100 freestyle (52.58), and played a part in the 200 medley relay team's first place finish.

Diver of the Week

Samantha Papadakis - Harvard University
Senior, Diver,
Deerfield, Ill.

Papadakis finished first in both the one-meter and three-meter dive events as Harvard defeated Penn.  The senior broke a pool record in the three-meter with a score of 325.95 and took the one-meter with a tally of 301.50.  For her efforts, Papadakis qualified for the NCAA Zone Diving meet.

Division II

Swimmer of the Week

Liza Connolly - Bentley College
Senior, Freestyle,
Washington, Conn.

Connolly posted four individual wins and contributed to two relay victories, in two meets last week.  The senior placed first in the 100 butterfly (1:03.91) and helped win the 200 free relay (1:48.20) in a tri-meet with Regis and Western New England.  Connolly then took first in the 50 free (26.16), 100 free (57.82) and 50 fly (28.98), as well as swimming in the victorious 200 free relay (1:48.60) against Saint Michael's.

Diver of the Week

Emily Travers - Bentley College
Freshman, Diver,
Brentwood, N.H.

Travers finished with a first place score in the three-meter (213.90) and a third place finish in the one-meter (210.70) against Saint Michael's.  The freshman also posted scores of 200.93 (one-meter) and 218.78 (three-meter), as she competed unopposed against Regis and Western New England.

Division III

Swimmer of the Week

Brittany Sasser - Amherst College
Senior, Backstroke,
Belmont, Mass.

Sasser captured three individual wins in leading Amherst to a victory over Williams.  The senior took first in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke with times of 56.28 and 2:01.18, respectively.  Sasser added to her totals with a win in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.31).  She also contributed to the first place 200-yard medley relay squad.

Diver of the Week

Kelly Sponholz - SUNY Fredonia
Junior, Diver,
Alden, N.Y.

Sponholz qualified for the NCAA's with her score in the three-meter springboard (312.55) and in the one-meter springboard (260.50).  The junior broke the SUNYAC and Steele Hall Natatorium record with her score in the three-meter springboard event.
