Division II

Co-Players of the Week

Emily Gottstein - College of Saint Rose
Senior, Forward Albany, N.Y.

Gottstein recorded a double-double in a win against Bloomfield (72-54), and came up one rebound shy of another one in a victory over Southern Connecticut (99-83).  For the week, she averaged 26.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 65.5 percent (19-for-29) from the field.  Versus Bloomfield, Gottstein scored 34 points and had 13 rebounds.

Toni Jones - Goldey-Beacom College
Senior, Guard/Forward, Lewes, De.

Jones scored more than 30 points in both of her games this past week during setbacks to Wilmington (78-75) and Dominican (76-66).  She dropped in 31 points and grabbed 13 boards for a double-double against Wilmington, and finished the week averaging 30.5 points and 9.0 rebounds.

Division III - New England

Player of the Week

Caitlin Feeney - Bridgewater State College
Senior, Guard, Providence, R.I.

Feeney averaged 22.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists over three wins this week.  She scored at least 20 points in each game, with her best performance coming against Salem State (66-53) where she tallied 27 points and had 11 rebounds.

Division III - Upstate

Player of the Week

Jen Vergis - SUNY Institute of Technology
Senior, Guard, Rome, N.Y.

Vergis played four games last week, and posted a double-double in three of them.  In an 82-52 win over Cazenovia, she had 19 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and five steals.  Vergis ended the week with averages of 16.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.0 steals.

Division III - Metro

Player of the Week

Asia Johnson - William Paterson University
Junior, Forward, Wildwood, N.J.

Johnson had double-figure averages in points and rebounds after a pair of wins against Ramapo (75-57) and Rutgers-Newark (65-60).  She scored 24.0 points per contest, while grabbing 16.5 rebounds per game.  Against Rutgers-Newark, she had a 26-point, 20-rebound performance.

Division III - South

Player of the Week

Emilee Ackerman - Westminster College
Senior, Guard/Forward, Greensburg, Pa.

Ackerman averaged 28.5 points and 10.5 rebounds during the week, as Westminster defeated Geneva (66-61) and lost to Bethany (53-50).  She scored 37 points against Geneva, and converted 19-of-24 free throws.
