Division I

Track Athlete of the Week

Ramon Sosa - Syracuse University
Senior, Queens, N.Y.

Sosa the college division crown in the 60-meter hurdles at the Millrose Games with a time of 7.84 seconds.  It marked his fourth NCAA provisional time in the event.

Field Athlete of the Week

Clendon Henderson - Liberty University
Senior, Meadow, Texas

Henderson posted IC4A Qualifying marks in both the shot put and weight throw at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup, hosted by Penn State.  Henderson's winning distance in the shot put traveled 58-6, while he finished seventh in the weight throw (62-11.25).

Division II

Co-Track Athletes of the Week

Stephan Ramirez, Bentley College
Senior,
San Antonio, Texas

Ramirez finished first in the 3,000 meters at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic, beating out 31 competitors with a time of 8:34.30.

Jarrett Eaton - West Chester University
Freshman, Roslyn, Pa.

Eaton lowered his own school record in the 55-meter hurdles to 7.47 seconds, finishing first in the event.

Co-Field Athletes of the Week

Robert Keizer - Southern Connecticut State University
Senior, Great Neck, N.Y.

Keizer won the triple jump at the Yale Geigengack Invitational with a jump of 14.66 meters.

Joe D'Agostino - Stonehill College
Sophomore, Canton, Mass.

D'Agostino set a school record with 6'7" high jump at the Tufts Stampede.  He placed first in the event.

Division III

Track Athlete of the Week

Amaan Siddeeq - SUNY Cortland
Senior,
Goshen, N.Y.

Sideeq broke his own school record and set a new SUNYAC record with a time of 21.96 seconds in the 200 meters at the Syracuse Invitational, winning the event. Sideeq also finished first in the 55-meter event with a time of 6.38 seconds - an NCAA provisional qualifier.

Co-Field Athletes of the Week

Eric Jones - St. Lawrence University
Sophomore,
Watertown, N.Y.

Jones' weight throw of 16.72 meters at the Syracuse Invitational was good for a second place finish, and improved on his NCAA provisional qualifying distance.

Dean Brown - City College of New York
Sophomore,
Valley Stream, N.Y.

Brown won the high jump event with a season-high height of 6-9.75 at the Delaware Thomson Invitational.  The jump was just shy of the NCAA automatic qualification standard, but provisionally qualified Brown for the NCAA Championships.
