Men's Indoor Track & Field

Division I

Co-Track Athletes of the Week

Chris Vuono - Monmouth University
Senior, Wall, N.J.

Vuono took first place in the 500-meter event at the Princeton New Year Invitational with a time of 1:04.61, qualifying him for the IC4A Championships.  Vuono also anchored the 4x400-meter relay squad which crossed the finish line just shy of the IC4A standard.

Colin Lyons - University of Vermont
Junior, Elizabeth, Colo.

Lyons finished ahead of everyone else in the 1000-meter and 1500-meter races at the Montreal Open, with times of 2:38.87 and 4:14.52, respectively.

Field Athlete of the Week

Nasim Siddeeq - Robert Morris University
Sophomore, New Hampton, N.Y.

Siddeeq out-jumped the competition in the long jump and triple jump at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala.  His triple jump mark of 14.86 meters qualifies him for the IC4A Championships.  Siddeeq's long jump distance was recorded at 6.64 meters.

Division II

Track Athlete of the Week

Hafiz Greigre - Bryant University
Senior, Attleboro, Mass.

Greigre won the 200-meter dash at the Harvard Open in a time of 21.59 seconds.  He finished second in the 60-meter event with a time of 6.81 seconds.  Greigre also participated on the 4x400-meter relay team that took first place in the event.

Field Athlete of the Week

Robert Keizer - Southern Connecticut State University
Senior, Great Neck, N.Y.

Keizer, at the Yale Season Opener, won the triple jump and placed third in the long jump.  His triple jump distance of 14.92 meters was good enough for a NCAA provisional qualifying.

Division III

Track Athlete of the Week

Ozzie Brown - Moravian College
Senior, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

Brown placed first in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles, and was part of a 4x400 relay team that won.  His time of 8.23 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles was good for NCAA provisional qualifying.  Brown also placed second in the 200-meter dash, and won the long jump.

Field Athlete of the Week

Eugene Asimou - Montclair State University
Junior, Livingston, N.J.

Asimou won both the shot put and hammer throw events at the Seton Hall Games, with distances of 15.89 meters and 15.94 meters, respectively.
