Track Athlete of the Week
Phil Leineweber - Liberty
University
Junior, New Freedom, Pa.
Leineweber placed first in both the 400-meter dash (48.26) and the 500-meter dash (1:04.57) at the Virginia Tech Invitational. The junior met IC4A qualifying standards in both events.
Field Athlete of the Week
Clendon Henderson - Liberty
University
Senior, Meadow, Texas
Henderson placed first in the shot put (61-10½) and third in the weight throw (62-1) at the Virginia Tech Invitational. The senior's mark in the shot put placed him on the NCAA provisional list and his score in the weight throw met the IC4A qualifying standard.

Track Athlete of the Week
Richard Wyche - University
of New Haven
Senior, Columbia,
N.J.
Wyche was the top Division II finisher at the Yale Track Classic in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 50.68 seconds. The senior also contributed on the New Haven distance medley relay and 4x400-meter relay squads.
Field Athlete of the Week
Adam Samborski - West Chester University
Sophomore, Douglasville,
Pa.
Samborski won the pentathlon and in the process broke a West Chester record at the PSAC East Challenge. The sophomore also won the 55-meter hurdles, the long jump, and high jump.

Track Athlete of the Week
Patrick Gallagher - SUNY Geneseo
Sophomore, Warwick,
N.J.
Gallagher finished first and set a school record in the 500-meter dash (1:05.54) at the Syracuse Invitational.
