Geoff Rathgeber - Harvard
University
Senior, Breaststroke/IM,

Conn.
Rathgeber had an impressive showing at the Georgia Invitational, finishing first in both the 200-meter individual medley and the 400-meter individual medley with times of 1:46.73 and 3:52.87, respectively. He also finished first in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 55.40 seconds.
Diver of the Week
Andrew Berry - Dartmouth
College
Senior, Diver, Middleton, Wis.
Berry was the top finisher in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events with scores of 355.57 and 353.93, respectively. The senior set a new Dartmouth and Karl Michael Pool record with his 1-meter dive score.

Dan Vitagliano - Southern
Connecticut State
University
Senior, Distance/Butterfly, New
Haven, Conn.
Vitagliano set the Northeast-10 record in the 100-yard butterfly and was a member of a record setting 800-yard freestyle relay squad. He also placed first in the 200-yard freestyle event, earning him most valuable swimmer at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

Brandon Birchak - The College
of Saint Rose
Senior, Diver, Latham,
N.Y.
Birchak took first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events, defending his titles at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. For his efforts, the senior was named most valuable diver of the championship.

Co-Swimmers of the Week
Pavel Buyanov - College
of Staten Island
Freshman, Breaststroke, Russia/Novasibirrsk
Buyanov set a pair of ECAC Championship records in the 100-yard (55.67) and 200-yard (2:03.04) breaststroke. The freshman earned automatic qualification to the NCAA Division III Championships and was named Swimmer of the Meet at the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship.
Nikolay Shevchenko - College
of Staten Island
Freshman, Butterfly/IM, Russia/Krasnoyarsk
Shevchenko won three races and was tops in total points at the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship. The freshman finished first in the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.23), 100-yard butterfly (50.53), and 200-yard individual medley (1:56.17), while finishing fourth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:10.92).

Greg Lloyd - The College
of New Jersey
Junior, Diver, Ringoes,
N.J.
Lloyd took first place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 441.00 at the ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship. The junior also finished second in the 3-meter with a score of 467.45.
