All-American Barrett Roberts led the Lyon men with victories in the 50- and 200-yard freestyles against Coast Guard on Saturday. Roberts took the 50 free crown by turning in an NCAA Championship provisional qualifying time of 21.05, winning by 1.32 seconds over his closest competitor. He turned back the 200 free field in 1:45.37, outdistancing the second-place finisher by 4.06 ticks. Roberts also swam for the second-place 200-yard medley relay quartet, which was 1.99 seconds out of first place, while helping the 400-yard freestyle relay team to a third-place showing.
