Co-Swimmer of the Week
Eric Bugby—Duquesne University
Senior, Easton, Pa.
Bugby set pool records in the 200-yard butterfly (1:53.76) and
200-yard individual medley (1:53.88) events on Jan. 27 as Duquesne
earned a 113.5-91.5 win over La Salle The senior also swam a leg of
the winning 400-yard medley relay that finished in a pool-record
time of 3:28.30
Brian Koizim—Binghampton
University
Senior, White Plains, N.Y.
Koizim led the Bearcat men to a split against Atlantic-10 foes
Massachusetts and Colgate this past weekend. In his last collegiate
dual meet, Koizim was a triple-winner, pacing the men's efforts
with victories in the 100-back, 51.85, 100-free, 46.58, and 200-IM,
1:54.8. His performance in the 200-IM was the second-fastest swim
in that event in the America East all season. In both the 100-back
and 100-free, his times were the league's third-fastest efforts. On
the year, Koizim now has 14 individual wins on the season and has
won at least two races in three consecutive meets.
Co-Diver of the Week
Clark Cohen—Lehigh University
Junior, Bradford, Pa.
Cohen swept both diving events against Bucknell, winning the
one-meter by nearly 21 points and the three-meter by almost three
points.
Brian Lawler—Boston University
Sophomore, San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Lawler earns diver of the week for the second straight week. He won the 3-meter by over 70 points, earning a score of 343.43, and completing the sweep by winning the 1-meter with 308.93.
