Division I

Swimmer of the Week

Bill Jones - Harvard University
Junior, Freestyle/Butterfly,
Fremont, Mich.

Jones claimed the 100 butterfly (49.63), the 200 freestyle (1:42.30), and took part in the victorious 200 medley relay (1:33.78) to help the Crimson defeat Boston University.  The junior also captured first place in the 100 butterfly against Brown during the week.

Diver of the Week

Greg Sievers - U.S. Military Academy
Senior, Diver,
San Antonio, Texas

Sievers swept the one-meter and three-meter diving events against George Washington recording scores of 286.65 and 301.43, respectively.  The senior followed up that performance with a victory in the three-meter against George Mason with a score of 336.90.   

Division II

Swimmer of the Week

Ben Kuntz - West Chester University of Pennsylvania
Freshman, Freestyle/Butterfly,
Karlsruhe, Germany

Kuntz recorded a school record and conference best with his time of 1:48.76 in the 200-yard butterfly against Southern Connecticut.  The freshman also won the 1000-yard freestyle against the Owls with a time 9:42.05.  Kuntz then claimed the 100-yard butterfly against Penn State with a time of 51.14, good for an NCAA "B"cut.

Diver of the Week

Jon Andrews - Bentley College
Freshman, Diver,
Southbury, Conn.

Andrews swept both the one-meter and three-meter events against Keene State with scores of 244.75 and 274.25, respectively.  The freshman also had a second place finish in the three-meter and third place finish in the one-meter against Babson.

Division III

Swimmer of the Week

Brad Thornton - New York University
Senior, Breaststroke/Backstroke,
Hastings on the Hudson, N.Y.

Thornton produced great results against TCNJ, winning three individual events and captured two pool records at the Palladium Athletic Facility Natatorium.  The senior claimed the 100-yard breaststroke (58.98) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.51) in record setting times.  Thornton was also victorious in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:58.01.

Diver of the Week

Greg Lloyd - The College of New Jersey
Junior, Diver,
Ringoes, N.J.

Lloyd had a record breaking week as he won three events and set two pool records in the process. The junior broke the Palladium Athletic Facility Natatorium records in the one-meter (326.11) and the three-meter (360.90) against NYU.  Lloyd also met the NCAA provisional standard in the three-meter (323.15) against Rowan earlier in the week
