Player of the Week
Chris Shalvoy - Williams College
Junior, Guard, Rochester, N.Y.
Shalvoy was instrumental in the Ephs' run to the 2007 NESCAC
Championship, averaging 24.0 points while playing 76 of a possible
80 minutes over the weekend. Shalvoy hit 54.8-percent of his shots
over the two games (17-for-31) and was an impressive 9-for-14 from
behind the arc (.643), going 7-for-9 during Sunday's final against
Amherst and finishing with a game-high 25 points. For the weekend,
he dished the ball seven times while committing only one
turnover.

Division III - Upstate
Dan Mueller- St. John Fisher College
Senior, Guard, Waterloo, N.Y.
Mueller averaged 21.5 points per game in leading St. John Fisher
to its fifth consecutive Empire 8 championship. He scored 26
points, the second-highest total of his career, in a 78-73 overtime
win over Utica in the title game, hitting nine of 17 shots from the
field. Mueller scored 17 points, shooting 4-of-6 from
three-point range, in a 67-58 semifinal victory over RIT.

Division III - Metro
Omar Alston- Ramapo College
Junior, Center, Carteret, N.J.
Alston averaged 20.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while
leading Ramapo to three tournament victories in a five-day span to
capture the 2006-07 NJAC Championship. He first tallied 13 points
on 6-of-8 shooting from the field in the Roadrunners' 77-61 opening
round victory over TCNJ. He then notched a double-double 19 points
and 17 rebounds in Ramapo's 92-84 semifinal road win at Rowan,
before registering 29 points and nine rebounds in the Roadrunners'
83-81 championship game road victory over NJCU in overtime. His
jump hook with 3.8 seconds remaining in the overtime period of the
championship game proved to be the winning basket as Ramapo claimed
its second NJAC men's basketball title in the past three years.

Rob Williams-Lake Erie College
Senior, Guard, Richmond Heights, Ohio
The first team All-AMCC selection hit the game-winning three-pointer with less than 5 seconds remaining to earn the Storm their second consecutive AMCC championship. Williams was the leading scorer in the game with 19 points, including a 4-for-5 performance beyond the arc. For the tournament he averaged 20.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
