Division II

Player of the Week

Nate Fritsch - Bentley College
Senior, Forward, Durham, N.C.

Fritsch posted a double-double last week against Bloomfield, scoring 27 points to go with 10 rebounds.  He made 11 of 18 shots from the field, and made a pair of free throws with just seconds remaining on the clock to help secure the 62-59 victory.

Division III - New England

Player of the Week

Nick Harrington - Southern Vermont College
Senior, Forward, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Harrington scored 37 points and hauled in 33 rebounds against Mitchell College - the second player in Division III history to record a 30-30 game.  Against Nichols he nearly had a triple-double, with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and eight steals.

Division III - Upstate

Co-Players of the Week

Mark Carson - Rochester Institute of Technology
Junior, Center, Voorheesville, N.Y.

Carson had a 23-point, 10-rebound performance 91-85 victory over previously unbeaten and nationally-ranked Stevens.

Virgil Gray - Steven Institute of Technology
Junior, Guard, Elmwood Park, N.J.

Gray averaged 23.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in a pair of games during the week.  He had 25 points and 11 rebounds in a double-overtime 100-97 win over Nazareth.

Division III - Metro

Player of the Week

Jamaal Hall - New York City College of Technology
Junior, Guard, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Hall averaged 32 points per game during the week, in wins over Brooklyn and Medgar Evers.  He scored 39 points against Brooklyn behind 70 percent shooting from the field.

Division III - South

Co-Players of the Week

Greg Gonzalez - Carnegie Mellon University
Senior, Forward, Southlake, Texas

Gonzalez recorded a pair of double-doubles this week, in wins over La Roche (76-63) and Juniata (65-57).  He averaged 17.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, and went a perfect 10-for-10 from the foul line.

Albert Medoro - Albright College
Senior, Forward, Exton, Pa.

Medoro had double-doubles in both games during the week, as Albright defeated Rutgers-Camden and Rutgers-Newark.  He averaged 15.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
