Three Champions Crowned as 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival Comes to End

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - The 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex came to a conclusion with three overall champions being crowned.

On the third and final day of competition, the men's championship was decided in a high-paced thriller between Wesley and Ramapo. Behind Most Oustanding Player Rudy Thomas, Wesley would take the title, winning 86-80.

The Roadrunners of Ramapo overcame an eight point deficit at halftime to take a seven point lead with 12 minutes to go, but it was the Wolverines who would prevail using a 7-0 run late in the contest. It was Thomas and senior guard Kevin Johnson who led the way; combining for 33 points. Bench play was an enormous factor in the game as Wesley's bench was outstanding in outscoring Ramapo 37-10.

Ramapo's Davian Plunkett led all scorers with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Two women's games rounded out the 2010 festival, as King's College and Connecticut College would come out with victories.
