ECAC Announces Division II Men's Basketball All-Stars

CAPE COD, Mass. – Senior forward Laurence Ekperigini of Le
Moyne College has been chosen as the 2009-10 ECAC Division II
Men’s Basketball Player of the Year. Ekperigin finished
first in the Northeast-10 Conference in both scoring, with 606
points and 21.6 points per game, and rebounding, averaging 12.1 per
game.
Long Island University- C.W. Post freshman Jonathan Kohler has
been chosen as the 2009-10 ECAC Division II Men’s Basketball
Rookie of the Year, with per-game averages of 14.7 points and 3.6
rebounds. The Pioneers forward was named the East Coast
Conference Rookie of the Year for his efforts.
Joining Ekperigini on the ECAC first team are Thomas Baudinet from
Saint Anselm College, Ralph Hegamin from West Chester University,
Aaron Hall of Long Island University- C.W. Post, and Nemanja Jokic
from Long Island University- C.W. Post.
Baudinet finished the year with 564 points, averaging 19.4 per
game, along with 5.6 rebounds per game. Hegamin, finished his
senior season with 17.5 points per game, coupled with 9.4 rebounds
per game.
Hall earns accolades after helping the Pioneers to gain regional
rankings with averages of 16 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per
game. Jokic also helped out C.W. Post by averaging 15.6
points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
The five players that were selected to the ECAC second team are:
Richard Byrd of Adelphi University, Trevon Hamlet from Post
University, Jon Lucky from Post University, David Seagers from
Dowling College, and Greg Vetrano from Saint Anselm College.

all-star team and four regional Division III all-star teams (New
