In Brown's first meet of the season, Shnayder helped the Bears score a 192.55, a season-opening school record. She was solid on all four events and earned the team's top score on floor.

Traina led Yale with the team's top scores on all four events.  She tied her career high on floor and scored a 38.55 in the all-around for the opening meet of Bulldogs' season.

In the first meet of Brown's season, and her college debut, Morant competed like a veteran. She was solid on all four events and helped set a new school-record, season-opening team score with a 192.55. She had the top score for the Bears on two events and in the all-around.

 

Specialist of the Week

Chretien had the highest score for the Bears in the first meet of the season. Not only was this a personal best score for her, her score ranks second all-time on bars. Her performance helped Brown to a new school record for a season-opening team total. Chretien finished second overall on the event with tough competition from the University of Minnesota, UNH and Yale.

Due to injuries to key gymnasts, senior co-captain Diana Moock competed in the all-around to help her team improve from last week. Moock competed on an injury that she received on beam two days prior to the first meet last week. Bars was her only event as a freshman and as a senior, she has stepped up to compete in the all-around and become a strong leader by example.
