Player of the Week
Meagan Butsch - University of Albany
Junior, Third Base, Tomball, Texas
Butsch went 11-for-22 at the plate for a .500 average in a 6-1 week for the Great Danes. The junior connected for three home runs, thee doubles, and one triple to go along with a 1.136 slugging percentage. Butsch scored eight runs and drove in seven runs, helping Albany reel off six straight wins.

Brandice Balschmiter - University of
Massachusetts-Amherst
Junior, Pitcher, Newark, N.Y.
Balschmiter did not allow a run on the week, recording a 0.00 ERA and a 4-0 record in the circle. The junior struck out 33 batters and earned career win number 77 to move her into second place on UMass' all-time wins list.
Mallory Aldred - Canisius College
Junior, Pitcher, Whitby, Ontario
Aldred picked up four saves and went 1-0, and did not allow a run in five appearances for the Golden Griffins. The junior's save against Manhattan was the 11th of her career and put Aldred as the all-time saves leader at Canisius.

Player of the Week
Laurie Tanguay - University of Massachusetts-Lowell
Senior, Outfield, Lowell, Mass.
Tanguay registered 17 hits in 27 at bats (.630) and slugged 1.000 in a 6-2 week for the River Hawks. The senior knocked in 12 runs and scored 10 runs, in addition to hitting three doubles, two triples, and one round-tripper. Tanguay's week was highlighted by a 4-for-4 performance at the plate against Saint Anselm.
Pitcher of the Week
Samantha Sasko - Georgian Court University
Junior, Pitcher, Groveville, N.J.
Sasko threw back-to-back no hitters, becoming the first ever Georgian Court player to accomplish the feat. The junior threw a no-hitter versus Goldey-Beacom and followed it up with a perfect game against Bloomfield. Sasko fanned 13-of-15 batters in the perfect game.
Division III - New England
Player of the Week
LeEllen Lewis - Roger Williams University
Senior, Outfielder, Brunswick, Md.
Lewis hit safely 18 times and batted .695 on the week, driving in 18 runs and scoring 14 runs. The senior also collected four doubles, one triple, and one home run. Lewis swiped five bases and drew five walks as well.
Pitcher of the Week
Kaitlin Streilein - Brandeis University
Senior, Pitcher, Point Pleasant, N.J.
Streilein recorded a 4-0 record and pitched three complete games, including two 1-0 shutout wins. The senior worked 26 innings, surrendering two earned runs for a 0.54 ERA. Streilein struck out 21 of the batters she faced, and allowed only 12 hits.

Co-Players of the Week
Kerry Barger - Ithaca College
Freshman, Catcher, Carmel, N.Y.
Barger hit .636 (7-for-11) in a 6-0 week for Ithaca that included a sweep of No. 17 Rochester. The rookie doubled and had a home run, knocking in five runs while scoring four times.
Sara Dresser - St. John Fisher College
Senior, Shortstop, Medina, N.Y.
Dresser went 15-for-27 at the plate, posting a .556 average to help the Cardinals go 8-2 on the week. The senior had 10 RBI, 12 runs scored, and connected for three home runs.
Pitcher of the Week
Carly Myers - Ithaca College
Senior, Pitcher, Victoria, B.C.
Myers pitched three complete-game shutouts and did not allow a run in 19 innings of work for Ithaca. The senior struck out 19 batters on the week and led the Bombers to victory over No. 17 Rochester.
Division III - Metro
Player of the Week
Lisa O'Shea - College of Mount Saint Vincent
Sophomore, Outfield, White Plains, N.Y.
O'Shea registered at least two hits in all six games played, batting .619 (13-for-21) on the week. The sophomore connected for six doubles, three triples, two home runs, and drove in 12 runs.
Pitcher of the Week
Jennifer Martinez - St. Joseph's College (NY)
Senior, Pitcher, Bay Shore, N.Y.
Martinez did not surrender a run and struck out 70 batters in a 5-0 week, in which the senior worked in 35 innings. Martinez's week was highlighted by a pair of shutout victories against No. 11 Ramapo.
Division III - South
Player of the Week
Michelle Kushner - University of Pittsburgh at
Bradford
Senior, Centerfield, McKees Rocks, Pa.
Kushner batted .704 (19-for-27) and drove in six runs while scoring 13 for the week. In a game against Hilbert, the senior went 8-for-8 with seven runs scored, and stole a career-high five bases.
Pitcher of the Week
Laura Snyder - Lebanon Valley College
Freshman, Pitcher, Richfield, Pa.
Snyder went 4-0 on the week for the Flying Dutchmen and posted a 0.59 ERA, helping LVC clinch a Commonwealth Conference playoff berth. The rookie threw two complete game one-hitters against Widener and Messiah.
