Top Seed Stevens Institute Downs Drew for 2009 ECAC Division III Metro/South Men’s Lacrosse Championship
After finishing the regular-season with a 9-5 record, Stevens Institute of Technology was selected as the number one seed in the 2009 ECAC Division III Metro/South Men's Lacrosse Championship. The tournament is a four-team field with semifinal and championship rounds.
In the first round contests on Friday, May 8, No. 1 Stevens Institute will host No. 4 Kean University (12-7) and No. 3 Drew University (8-7) will host No. 2 Wesley College (11-5). Both games will start at 7 p.m.
The semifinal winners will meet Sunday, May 10 for the championship.
