CAPE COD, Mass. – For the third consecutive year and the sixth time since 2001, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) will host the New England regional of the 2008 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. The competition will be held at Whitehouse Field in Harwich, Massachusetts, May 14-18, 2008. Whitehouse Field is the home of the Harwich Mariners, a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

NEWARK, NJ - Freshman third baseman Christian Diaz blasted a grand slam to cap a five-run fourth inning and senior righthander Travis Bilak pitched six strong innings to help Rutgers-Newark to a 10-4 win over John Jay in the title game of the ECAC Metro Baseball Championship.
