Player of the Week
Kevin Mahoney - Canisius College
Junior, Third Base, Miller Place, N.Y.
Mahoney belted four home runs to pace the Griffs over five games last week. The junior hit .556 and slugged 1.333, while contributing with 11 RBI, seven runs scored, and two doubles.
Pitcher of the Week
Tom Costigan - Manhattan College
Sophomore, Pitcher, Cold Springs, N.Y.
Costigan hurled 10 shutout innings last week and he picked up two wins to lead the Jaspers. In a dominating effort against Iona the sophomore tossed a complete game, nine-inning shutout, while striking out seven.
Division II
Player of the Week
Abe Yeakel - Mansfield University
Senior, First Base, Kutztown, Pa.
Yeakel caught fire last week, leading Mansfield with a .500 batting average going 14-for-28 over eight games. The senior recorded five homeruns and one double which contributed to a stellar 1.071 slugging percentage. Yeakel also added four walks and two stolen bases.
Co-Pitchers of the Week
Dan Lozeau - Bryant University
Junior, Pitcher, Pelham, N.H.
Lozeau tossed two complete game victories to lead the Bulldogs last week. The junior fanned five, while not allowing a run in 19 innings pitched.
Kyle Davis - University of Massachusetts-Lowell
Freshman, Pitcher, Rochester, N.H.
Davis struck out 21 batters in two complete game shutouts for the River Hawks. The freshman recorded double-digit strikeout totals in wins against Saint Rose and AIC.
Division III - New England
Player of the Week
James DiCosmo - Williams College
Senior, Second Base, Fair Lawn, N.J.
DiCosmo was influential in the lead-off spot for the Ephs last week, as he recorded 11 hits and a .688 average. The senior also had three runs scored, three RBI, five walks, two doubles, one triple, and four stolen bases.
Pitcher of the Week
Joey Lucier - Worcester State College
Sophomore, Pitcher, Brockton, Ma.
Lucier hurled a complete game shutout to defeat Salem State 3-0 last week. The sophomore allowed only two hits and struck out six as he dazzled the Vikings' hitters.
Division III - Upstate
Player of the Week
Geoff Dornes - Rochester Institute of Technology
Senior, Outfield, Landisville, Pa.
Dornes led the Tigers' last week, as he hit .593 (16-for-27). The senior smacked three doubles and one triple, while scoring seven times and knocking in 12 runs.
Co-Pitchers of the Week
Michael Park - University of Rochester
Junior, Pitcher, Scarsdale, N.Y.
Park tossed a complete game win against Clarkson, scattering two hits and fanning a career-high 11 strikeouts. The junior allowed only one run and walked two in his outing.
Zachary Potter - SUNY New Paltz
Senior, Pitcher, Plain Pine, N.Y.
Potter struck out a career-high 12 batters in a complete game 5-1 win over Oswego. The senior factored in allowing one unearned run and seven hits, while walking only one batter.
Division III - Metro
Player of the Week
Mike Gerdes - St. Joseph's College (NY)
Sophomore, Second Base, Wantagh, N.J.
Gerdes had a monster week for the Golden Eagles, batting .630 (17-for-27) with three extra base hits. The sophomore recorded a double, a triple, and a homerun, while scoring 10 times and knocking in seven for St. Joseph's. Gerdes also added two stolen bases.
Pitcher of the Week
Jeremy Chapman - Mitchell College
Sophomore, Pitcher, Oakdale, Conn.
Chapman recorded a complete game victory over John Jay last week, striking out 11 over seven innings. The sophomore did not walk a batter and scattered only four hits in his solid performance.
Division III - South
Player of the Week
Brian Youchak - Johns Hopkins University
Sophomore, Outfield, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Youchak led the Blue Jays to a 5-0 week, hitting .619 (13-for-21). The sophomore blasted three homeruns, knocked in 15 runs, and scored eight times as Hopkins clinched the top seed in the Centennial Conference.

Ben McCracken - University of Pittsburgh at Bradford
Junior, Pitcher, Bradford, Pa.
McCracken threw seven strong innings in a complete game win for the Panthers. The junior fanned 12 batters without allowing a walk on the afternoon.
Jay Enoch - Juniata College
Senior, Pitcher, Landisville, Pa.
Enoch tossed a complete game win over Scranton, as he went seven innings for the Eagles. The senior did not allow a run, while walking one and scattering four hits. Enoch leads the Landmark Conference with seven victories.
