Harvard Captures 2007 ECAC Division I Women's Golf Championship

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Harvard University won the 2007 ECAC Women's Division I Golf Championship at Kiskiask Golf Club, with all five of its individuals posting 36-hole totals of 155 or lower.  Harvard's team total of 600 (+24) was good enough for a 19 stroke victory over second place finisher Lehigh University (619).  Boston College took third place out of the 15-team field with a score of 631.

Claire Sheldon of Harvard captured the medalist honors for the weekend, firing a two-day total of 145 (+3).  She also carded the low round of the championship with a 4-under par 68 in Round 1.  Teammates Sarah Harvey and Emily Balmert took second and third place, respectively, with scores of 151 and 152.  Three players tied for fourth place at 153 - Ali Bode of Harvard, Jennifer Nagel of Lehigh, and Kelsey Rockey of BC.
