Bucknell University Earns Top Seed In 2010 ECAC Men’s Water Polo Championship
Cape Cod, Mass. – The Bison of Bucknell University have earned the top seed in the 2010 ECAC Men’s Water Polo Championship which will take place Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19 at Blodgett Pool on the campus of Harvard University.
The remaining seeds are No. 2 Princeton University, No. 3 St. Francis College, No. 4 Johns Hopkins University, No. 5 Brown University, No. 6 Fordham University, No. 7 Massachusetts Institute of Technology, No. 8 Iona College, No. 9 George Washington University, No. 10 Harvard University, No. 11 Mercyhurst College and No. 12 Washington & Jefferson College.
No. 8 Iona College will face No. 9 George Washington University in the first game of the three day championship on Friday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m. Friday’s schedule also includes No. 7 MIT vs. No. 10 Harvard (4:30 p.m.), No. 6 Fordham vs. No. 11 Mercyhurst (6:00 p.m.) and No. 5 Brown vs. No. 12 Washington & Jefferson (7:30 p.m.). Saturday’s schedule features 10 games with the first game starting at 9:00 a.m. Sunday’s action begins at 9:00 a.m. with the championship match scheduled to start at 3:40 p.m.
