Saint Francis Wins Fifth Straight ECAC Men's Water Polo Championship

CAMBRIDGE, MASS.- The St. Francis College men's water polo team proved to be too much in the pool once again defeating the no. 6 seeded Johns Hopkins 16-6 in the ECAC Championship game.
Sophomore Stefan Gencic scored a career high five goals and had three assists and three steals to lead the Terriers, while Nemanja Pucarevic chipped in with four goals.
On the defensive end sophomore goaltender Nikola Djuric was a force between the pipes with seven saves in the championship match, but also made crucial stops in the semifinal match.
In the consolation match, Bucknell took the third place finish with a nail-biting 9-8 win over George Washington University.
