Offensive Player of the Week

Garrett Dresel - U.S. Military Academy
Junior, Forward, Mustang,
Okla.

Dresel helped keep in tact Army's undefeated record with timely goals in wins over Marist and Manhattan.  His goal in the 74th minute was the difference in a 1-0 victory over Marist.  Against Manhattan, he tallied a pair of goals in the second half that broke a 1-1 tie.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jason Friel - University of Villanova
Senior, Goalkeeper,
Dublin, Pa.

Friel allowed only one goal in a 3-0 week for the Wildcats.  He was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Duke/Adidas Classic after posting a pair of 1-0 shutouts over No. 2 Duke and N.C. State.  Friel made 10 saves against Duke, two against N.C. State, and registered three saves in a 2-1 win over Siena.
