St. John Fisher Wins 2007 ECAC Division III Metro/Upstate Men's Golf Title

OSWEGO, N.Y. - St. John Fisher College posted a two-day total of 587 (+19) to win the 2007 ECAC Men's Division III Metro/Upstate Golf Championship at Oswego Country Club. Fisher held a six-stroke lead after the first round, but cruised to a 24-stroke victory thanks in part to a score of 294 in Round 2 - the only sub-300 score of the day.
New York University was the runner-up with a team total of 611, while SUNY Oswego took third place with a score of 622.
Fisher's Scott Harris Jr. earned the low medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 140 (-2). Teammate Tom Muto Jr. placed second at 143, and NYU's Andrew Gihm was third with 145.
