Skidmore claims 2004 ECAC Division III Men's Golf Championship

Victor, New York - Skidmore College shot a two-day total of 618 to earn the 2004 ECAC Division III Men's Golf Championship this weekend at Ravenwood Golf Course in Victor, New York.  University of Rochester scored 627 for second place while Babson College finished with a 631 for third place.

Tobin Spector finished fourth overall and led the Skidmore team with score of 148 including a 73 in the first round and a 75 on the final day. Michael Stiller (T5th) shot a 155 while teammate Charles Kromann talled a 156 for Skidmore.

The individual co-winners were Salem State's Matt Baran and Rochester's Stephen Goodridge who each shot a 146. Goodrich took an early lead after day one with a round of 72. Baran followed by matching him on Sunday with a 72. Each scored a 74 on the alternate day.
