CAPE COD, Mass -- After finishing the regular-season with a 12-6 record, William Paterson University was selected as the number one seed in the 2007 ECAC Division III Women's Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Championship. The tournament is an eight-team field.   

In the first-round on WEDNESDAY, November 7, 2007, #1 seed William Paterson University (12-6) will play #8 seed Catholic University (11-8) at 7:00pm at William Paterson.  #2 seed Nazareth College (14-5) will face #7 Fairleigh Dickinson (14-7) at 4:00pm at Nazareth College.  Third seed Washington & Jefferson (15-4) plays #6 Stevens Institute of Technology (12-6) at 1:00pm at W & J.  Montclair State University, the 4^th seed, (12-6) will face Drew University (11-8) at 7:00pm at Montclair State University.

The first-round winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, November 10, 2007 with sites to be determined after Wednesday contests.
