Offensive Player of the Week

Robert Morris - Nichols College
Junior, Running Back, Melbourne, Fla.

Morris led Nichols to a hard fought victory over MIT. The junior rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries.  Morris had a 90 yard touchdown run which ranks second in Nichols football history.

Defensive Player of the Week

Brian Michka - U.S. Coast Guard Academy
Junior, Linebacker, Cypress, Texas

Michka had a monster effort leading the Coast Guard defense. The junior had 13 tackles, including eight solo stops; one sack, a forced fumble and a pass break up in a win over

Westfield State.

Division III - Northwest

Offensive Player of the Week

Rob Kramer, St. John Fisher College
Senior, Quarterback, Oneida, N.Y.

Kramer led the Cardinals' offense throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns on 20 of 27 passing.  The senior also rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown in leading St. John Fisher to its' first win at Ithaca in school history.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Mike Ashcroft - Hartwick College
Senior, Defensive Back, Westbrookville, N.Y.

Ashcraft recorded three interceptions in a win over Husson College.  The senior's final pick came in the end zone to protect an eight-point lead.

Jason Cirulli - St. John Fisher College
Junior, Linebacker, Webster, N.Y.

Cirulli paced St. John Fisher's defense with a solid all-around defensive performance. The junior had eight tackles, forced a fumble, and intercepted a pass against Ithaca College.

Offensive Player of the Week

Ray Miles - State University of New York at Cortland
Junior, Quarterback, Port Byron, N.Y.

Miles had an outstanding day completing 19 of 36 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns. The junior had touchdown tosses of 15, 36, 37, and 3 yards in the Red Dragon's victory over Buffalo State.

Defensive Player of the Week

Vinny Russo - Fairleigh Dickinson University - College at Florham
Junior, Linebacker, Kenilworth, N.J.

Russo recorded a game and career-high 13 tackles and 7 solo stops in leading the FDU defense. The junior also had 2.5 tackles for a loss and recovered a fumble.

Division III - Southwest

Offensive Player of the Week

Robert Heller - Waynesburg College
Freshman, Running Back, Monongahela, Pa.

Heller continues to put up gaudy numbers as he earns his second ECAC Offensive Player of the Week honor.  The freshman rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns on 39 carries.  Heller's final touchdown gave Waynesburg the lead with 13 seconds left in a come from behind victory over Grove City.

Defensive Player of the Week

D.J. DeWitt - Waynesburg College
Junior, Defensive End, Vanderbilt, Pa.

DeWitt recorded 4.5 sacks for a total loss of 32 yards in leading the Waynesburg defense to a road win against Grove City. The senior set a new school single-game record with his performance.
