Offensive Player of the Week

Ryan Van De Giesen - Curry College
Junior, Quarterback, North Attleboro, Mass.

Van De Giesen produced an impressive all-around effort in leading Curry to a victory over Plymouth State.  The junior threw for three touchdowns and 166 yards on 17 of 26 passes.  Van De Giesen also rushed for 82 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown scamper.

Defensive Player of the Week

Trevor Powers - Williams College
Junior, Linebacker, Danvers, Mass.

Powers amassed 17 tackles, including nine solo stops in the Ephs victory over previously-unbeaten Tufts.  The junior also tallied a sack and a fumble recovery on the afternoon.

Division III - Northwest

Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Andrew Strom - Hobart College
Senior, Quarterback, Novato, Calif.

Strom had a great all-around day throwing for three scores and 262 yards on 19 of 24 passes.  The senior also added two rushing touchdowns and a game-high 74 yards rushing.

Jared Manzer - Alfred University
Sophomore, Wide Receiver, Johnson City, N.Y.

Manzer had a monster effort for undefeated Alfred University in a win over Husson.  The sophomore tied a school-record on a 90-yard punt return for a touchdown. Manzer also caught six passes for 169 yards and three touchdown receptions.

Defensive Player of the Week

Scott Miranto - St. John Fisher College
Senior, Defensive Back, North Tonawanda, N.Y.

Miranto led the Cardinals to a strong defensive effort against Springfield College.  The senior had two interceptions and five tackles, two of which went for a loss.

Division III - Southeast

Offensive Player of the Week

Stephen Asay - Albright College
Senior, Wide Receiver, Gibbstown, N.J.

Asay had a monumental day for Albright as he recorded three touchdowns on 11 receptions for 179 yards in a win over Wilkes.

Defensive Player of the Week

Matt Christ - Albright College
Junior, Defensive Back, Douglasville, Pa.

Christ led the Albright defense with a great effort against Wilkes. The junior had a team-high 12 tackles, including seven solo stops as well as two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.  Christ also added a forced fumble and a fumble recovery to his impressive performance.

Division III - Southwest

Offensive Player of the Week

Milton Joyner - Bethany College
Senior, Quarterback, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Joyner led the Bethany offensive attack in a win over conference foe Westminster.  The senior threw for two touchdowns and 321 yards on 26 of 35 passes, while adding two rushing scores as well.

Defensive Player of the Week

Ryan VanWright - Ursinus College
Senior, Defensive Back, Moorestown, N.J.

VanWright produced a solid defensive effort for Ursinus tallying two interceptions that led to two Bears' touchdowns.  The senior also added a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown in a win over McDaniel.
