Jerom Freeman - Southern Connecticut State University
Sophomore, Running Back, Peeskill, N.Y.

Freeman rushed for 248 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries as Southern Connecticut defeated Assumption.  The red-shirt freshman scored on runs of 37, 10, and 16 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Darryl Laforest - Bentley College
Sophomore, Defensive Line, Roslindale, Mass.

Laforest led the Bentley defense in a win over Pace with eight tackles, including 4.5 stops for a loss and three sacks.
