Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Mike McLeod – Yale University
Junior, Running Back, New Britain, Conn.


McLeod broke his own school-record rushing with 276 yards in a win over Lehigh.  The junior’s rushing output included two touchdowns on 40 carries. McLeod leads the nation in rushing yards per game, averaging 199 yards.
 
Jason Butler – Wagner College
Senior, Running Back, Syracuse, N.Y.


Butler had his sixth consecutive 100-yard game in leading Wagner past Monmouth.  The senior rushed for 210 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries.  Butler’s performance was the highest rushing total in the NEC this season.
   
Defensive Player of the Week

Frank Morand – Cornell University
Sophomore, Defensive Back, Cincinnati, Ohio


Morand recorded a career high five tackles and four pass breakups as the Cornell defense stymied Colgate’s offense in a 17-14 Big Red victory.  The sophomore’s biggest contribution came on a 72 – yard interception return for a touchdown early in the second half.
