ECAC Announces 2019 Division I Women's Soccer All-ECAC

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2019 Division I Women’s Soccer All-ECAC Team.
 
Lucy Porter of Hofstra University was voted Offensive Player of the Year and Amanda Knaub from Monmouth University took home Defensive Player of the Year. Brittany Raphino from Brown won Rookie of the Year while Mick D’Arcy won his second consecutive Coach of the Year.

Porter had a 2019 for the record books at Hofstra setting a program record with 40 points via 16 goals and eight assists. Her 16 goals are the third highest in program history, while her assists rank sixth. The CAA Midfielder of the Year was a MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List honoree after taking home CAA Offensive Player of the Week and Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week three times each.

Knaub was a monster in net for Monmouth all season collecting All-MAAC First Team honors as well as MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year. The senior logged 1781 minutes this season and let in only four goals. She led the NCAA in shutouts (15), in goals-against average (0.202) and in save percentage (0.923).

Brittany Raphino earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Ivy honors unanimously. She led the team in goals (eight), points (19), and game-winning goals (three) alongside three assists, ranking second in the Ivy League in goals, sixth in points, and tied for first in game-winning goals. She ranked first in the Ivy League in goals and second in points and game-winning goals. A two-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week, she netted game winners in Ivy play against Columbia and Cornell.

D’Arcy has now led CCSU to back-to-back NEC Championships. The team earned its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance and eighth under D'Arcy, as well as its second NCAA Tournament victory with a 1-0 upset over Rutgers. Named NEC Coach of the Year for the second straight year and sixth time in his career, he earned his 200th career victory at Central against this season.
