ECAC Riders of the Week Ending October 27

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Equestrian Riders of the Week for the week ending October 27.
 
Fences: Katie Balding – Sweet Briar College
Katie Balding earned Most Outstanding Performer honors over fences, on the road, against Delaware State on Friday. Balding rode PJ to an 82, edging Delaware State's Gabrielle Fournier's 77 over fences.
 
Flat: Erin Gordon – Delaware State
Another strong week for Erin Gordon who finished her 2019 fall semester 11-3 overall, 6-1 overall for the Flat. At home this past weekend against Sweet Briar College and the University of Lynchburg, she was 2-0 on the flat with scores 83-70 against Lynchburg and 82-74 against Sweet Briar. She was awarded MOP honors for her ride against Lynchburg with a winning point differential of 13. 
 
Horsemanship: Megan Waldron – SMU
Waldron's 76 in Horsemanship tied for the highest score of the event and helped the Mustangs win the event over #2 ranked Georgia 4-1.  The performance earned her an MOP honor, the second of her career.
 
Reining: Dani Latimer – SMU
Latimer earned the highest score of the reining events at #2 Georgia to defeat her opponent.  Her performance garnered MOP honors, the freshman's second of three career starts.  Latimer is currently 3-0 for the season.
