Juniata Claims Overall No. 1 Seed in 2018 ECAC Men's Basketball Tournament

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced Juniata College (22-5) will be the overall top-seed of the 2018 ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship. Tournament play will begin Wednesday, February 28 at regional sites.

In pod 1, No. 1 Juniata will host No. 4 Arcadia University (14-13) while No. 2 Neumann University (20-8) will travel to No. 3 Drew University (16-10).

In pod 2, No. 1 Wilson College (20-7) will visit No. 4 Widener University (15-10) while No. 2 William Paterson University (16-12) will host No. 3 Baruch College (15-11).

In pod 3, No. 1 Penn State University-Behrend will host No. 4 Alfred University (18-8), while No. 2 Wilkes University (18-8) will receive a bye as the host for the weekend.

In pod 4, No. 1 Bethany College (16-12) will host No. 4 Penn State University-Altoona (17-9), while No. 2 seed Westminster College (19-8) will host No. 3 Medaille College (17-10).

The winners of each first-round game will go on to compete in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 2 at Wilkes University
