ECAC Lacrosse League Announces “Game of the Week” Television Package

Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rudy Keeling announced today that the conference will have a five game television package during the 2010 ECAC Lacrosse season.

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - The 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex came to a conclusion with three overall champions being crowned. On the third and final day of competition, the men's championship was decided in a high-paced thriller between Wesley and Ramapo. Behind Most Oustanding Player Rudy Thomas, Wesley would take the title, winning 86-80.

ECAC Announces Final Lambert Meadowlands Football Poll

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the final weekly ECAC® Lambert Meadowlands Football Poll presented by FieldTurf. Three of the four teams held their positions at the top of the polls this week, but there was a major change in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) poll.

Wesley Squeaks by Ramapo to Win 2010 ECAC Men's Basketball Holiday Festival Title

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Wesley College claimed the 2010 ECAC Men's Basketball Holiday Festival championship with an 86-80 win over Ramapo College. In a highly competitive bracket which included the No. 22 nationally-ranked Corsairs of UMass Dartmouth, Wesley would claim the title. Using the efforts of Most Outstanding Player Rudy Thomas, the Wolverines would jump out to an eight point lead at halftime.

Colby Women Captures Bracket B of the 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - The Colby College Mules defeated the College of Staten Island, 90-48, to claim the women's bracket B title at the 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. The Mules rolled to the win riding the coattails of Tournament Most Outstanding player Jill Vaughan who netted 16 points and grabbed 8 boards.

Farmingdale Goes to 8-0 Claiming Bracket C of the 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Farmingdale State College's women's basketball team improved their season winning streak to eight games, as they topped SUNYIT 61-54, and won bracket C of the 2010 ECAC Holiday Festival. The Rams defense forced 35 turnovers and rode Tournament Most Outstanding Player Kimberly Blakney's tournament record-setting performance to claim the title.

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - The 2009-10 December Holiday Festival got underway Monday with familiar rivals SUNY Oneonta and SUNYIT facing off. This three-day tournament consists of three Division III men's basketball programs that will each face each other once.

SUNY Oneonta Handles Wheaton En Route to Holiday Festival Title

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - SUNY Oneonta claimed the 2009 ECAC December Holiday Festival crown with a 78-68 win over Wheaton College, improving their record to 8-1; matching its best start in over 10 years. Brian Beckford (Brooklyn, N.Y./Christ the King) continued his stellar play around the hoop netting 18 points and corralling 7 rebounds.

CALDWELL COLLEGE TO HOST ECAC HOLIDAY CLASSIC DEC. 19-20

Caldwell College will be the site of two full days of college basketball action when the ECAC Holiday Classic comes to the George R. Newman Center Dec. 19-20. The men's and women's basketball teams from Caldwell, Dominican College and East Stroudsburg University, the men’s team from Adelphi University and the women’s squad from Le Moyne College, will participate in the Classic, which consists of four games on each day.
