ESPNU Warrior Classic Tickets on Sale

ESPN Regional Television, Inc., a subsidiary of ESPN, announced
that tickets are on sale today for the ESPNU Warrior Classic, a new
lacrosse doubleheader to be played Saturday, April 24, at
Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn.
The doubleheader will feature No. 17 Denver vs. Fairfield at 11
a.m. ET, followed by No. 18 Massachusetts vs. No. 13 Georgetown at
1:30 p.m. Both games will be televised live on ESPNU.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $9 for senior citizens, children
and students with ID (must show ID at box office). Children under
two will be admitted free. Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com or by

"We are delighted to host the inaugural ESPNU Warrior Classic at
Rentschler Field," said Chuck Steedman, Northland AEG senior vice
president/general manager. "Lacrosse is widely recognized as the
fastest growing sport in America and has tremendous popularity at
the collegiate level. This event is hopefully the start of a great
sporting tradition in Connecticut."
ESPNU will lead ESPN's college lacrosse coverage with more game
telecasts this season, including 40 men's and women's
regular-season contests combined.
