Hobart Coach Matt Kerwick to Lead Team USA in Orlando Exhibition

Hobart College lacrosse head coach Matt Kerwick '90 will serve as a co-coach of Team USA during the US Lacrosse Champions Challenge in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 27. He will share the coaching duties with Michael Caravana, the head coach at Woodberry Forest (Va.) School.

Kerwick and Caravana both served as assistant coaches for Team USA at the 2006 International Lacrosse Federation Championship, where the Americans won the silver medal.

Kerwick is preparing for his seventh season as the head coach at his alma mater. In 12 seasons overall as a head coach, he sports a career record of 90-78 for a .536 winning percentage. Among active Division I coaches, Kerwick ranks in the top 25 in both career wins and career winning percentage.

Team USA will play Duke University at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex Field 1 at 3:15 p.m.
