Jim Rogalski Promoted to Associate Head Coach at Rutgers

Rutgers Sports Information

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers University men's lacrosse head coach Jim Stagnitta has announced the promotion of Jim Rogalski to associate head coach. Rogalski has served as an assistant coach with the Scarlet Knights for the past three seasons.

"Jim (Rogalski) is involved in every aspect of our program and has mastered what every head coach hopes for from an assistant," said Stagnitta. "He makes my job easier. Whether its recruiting, compliance, strategy or camp, I know and trust that he will not only do it well, but he will do it with the best interest of the players and the program."

In the past three seasons as an assistant coach, Rogalski was involved in all aspects of the program, including scouting, game-planning, off-season conditioning and recruiting. The current sophomore class that he helped sign includes two All-Americans, an Under Armour All-American, as well as standouts from New York and Maryland.

"Jim has been an important part of Rutgers lacrosse over the past four years and I am pleased to be able to reward his loyalty and recognize his level of contribution by elevating him to the position of associate head coach," said Stagnitta. "It is well deserved and truly representative of his role in our program."

Rogalski and the Scarlet Knights men's lacrosse team will begin regular season play on Feb. 23 against UMBC at the RU Turf Field.
