Loyola's Bauers and Spack Selected In National Lacrosse League Draft

Denver, Colo. - Former Loyola lacrosse players Dan Bauers and Andrew Spack were drafted in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft on Saturday afternoon at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo. Both players were seniors on last year's squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

Spack was chosen by the Colorado Mammoth in the fourth round (54th Overall), while Bauers was taken with the 68th overall selection by the New York Titans.

Spack, a two-time All-America selection for the Greyhounds, was an ECAC first-team honoree this past season. Bauers, a second-team ECAC selection, Bauers led the team in goals in 2007 with 29 while adding five assists to come in second in points. Spack added 17 goals and an assist while picking up 40 groundballs.
