BALTIMORE, Md. - Two Rutgers University players, Brian Shemesh (Hillsborough, N.J.) and Kory Kelly (South Brunswick, N.J.), were named to Inside Lacrosse's Top 100 Incoming Freshman list.
This is the 11th year that Inside Lacrosse, which also selects the Under Armour All-American team each May, has produced a recruiting issue, but the first year that the magazine has put out a ranking of the Power 100 incoming freshman.
Kelly is a 6-5, 205-pound attackman from nearby South Brunswick, N.J. As a freshman at South Brunswick High School, he earned All-State honorable mention, and as a sophomore was named to the All-State second team and the All-Division first team. Kelly missed his junior season due to a knee injury.
