Plattsburgh State's Moberg Named Player of the Week

Stephanie Moberg-Plattsburgh State
Senior, Center, Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Northwood
School
The team co-captain had a five-point weekend--including a team-best
four goals--to surpass 100 for her career, becoming the sixth
Cardinal to reach that milestone. She had two goals and an assist
in Saturday's 6-0 win against Neumann, and followed up that
performance with two goals on Sunday to complete the ECAC West
series sweep of the Knights, 7-0. She added 11 shots on goal and a
plus-8 rating. She now has 102 points on 41 goals and 61 assists in
her 88-game career.
Goalie of the Week
Mandy Mackrell-Plattsburgh State
Junior, Cleveland, Ohio/Ohio Flames
Mackrell posted back-to-back shutouts for the first time in her
career, defeating conference rival Neumann by scores of 6-0 and
7-0. She compiled 42 saves while lowering her goals-against
average from 1.99 to 1.20, which ranks second in the ECAC West.
Rookie of the Week
Kim Schlattman-RIT
Forward, Stratford, Ontario/Cambridge Fury
Schlattman recorded a goal and two assists in a 2-0-0 week for the
Tigers. On Friday, she scored the game-tying goal and added
an assist in Friday's 7-3 win over Williams. The following
day, she dished out an assist in a 3-1 win at New England.
Schlattman has a point in all six games this season, and is tied
for second on the team with 10 points (3-7-10). She is third
in the nation in points per game among all rookies.
Honor Roll
Jill Doherty-Utica College
Senior, Goalie, Wellesley, Mass./Kents Hill
Doherty stopped 43 shots and allowed just one goal in a 2-0 weekend
for the Pioneers. She stopped 24 shots and guided the
Pioneers' to a 3-0 shutout victory over Cortland on Sunday. Doherty
now has nine career shut outs and needs two more to tie the school
record. She also added 19 saves in the Pioneers' 3-1 win on
Saturday. She currently ranks second nationally in total saves with
300.
Allie Frank-Chatham
Freshman, Goalie, Glendale, Ariz./Tilton High School
In this weekend's ECAC match-ups against Elmira College, the first
year goalkeeper from Glendale, Ariz. tallied a total of 97 saves in
the two losses, 45 in Saturday's contest, and 52 in Sunday's
contest. Thus far in the season, Frank has saved 122 shots and
given up 15 goals for a .891 save percentage.
Katie Olejarski-Buffalo State
Junior, Defender, Rockford, Ill./Rockford U19
Olejarski scored a pair of power-play goals, including the
game-winner in Sunday's 3-2 victory over host Williams. The
goals were her first of the season.
Brittany Meade-Plattsburgh State
Forward, Junior, Saranac Lake, N.Y./ Cornwall Typhoons
Recorded the best two-game stretch of her career by leading the
team with seven points on two goals (one for a power play) and five
assists, to go along with four shots on goal and plus-8 rating. She
now is tied for first on the team with eight assists and 11 points
in only six games, both already career highs to go along with a
personal-best three goals.
