RIT's Dagg Reaches Career Milestone and Earns Player of the Week
Player of the Week
Sarah Dagg-RIT
Junior, Forward, St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks
Dagg became the seventh player in the history of the RIT women's
hockey program to record 100 career points, as the Tigers defeated
Chatham, 7-1 on Sunday afternoon. Dagg tallied four points on
two goals and two assists in the win. Dagg now has 100 points
(39-61-100) in 72 career games. She leads RIT with 33 points
(11-22-33) in 20 games this season. Dagg has 24 points
(8-16-24) in 13 ECAC West contests.
Goalie of the Week
Lauren Sullivan-Elmira
Freshman, Goalie, Toronto, Ontario/Markham-Stouffville Stars
(PWHL)
Sullivan earned a win against Buffalo State as she made 22 saves
in 60 minutes of action. She held the Bengals scoreless
through the first two periods and eleven minutes of the
third. She now owns a 9-2-1 record on the season.
Rookie of the Week
Madison Johnston-Elmira
Defender, Toronto, Ontario/Toronto Aeros (PWHL)
Johnston played a key role in Elmira's 7-1 win this weekend as she
earned three assists on the night. She assisted on the first
three goals of the game including the game winner. She now
has 12 points in her rookie season.
Honor Roll
Jordan Caldwell-Plattsburgh State
Freshman, Forward, Arvada, Colo./Colorado Selects
Caldwell posted two goals, three points, seven shots and a plus-3
rating as the Cardinals beat conference foe Cortland, 8-1, and 6-1.
She now leads freshmen skaters on the team with 10 assists and 15
points.
Alex Bresler-Elmira
Sophomore, Forward, Golden, Colo./Colorado Selects
Bresler earned a hat-trick which led Elmira to a 7-1 win over
Buffalo State. EC led 1-0 going into the third period until
Bresler scored all three goals in the third period. She
scored at the 3:53 mark in the period which turned out to be the
game winner. She scored again at the 7:53 and 11:33 marks in
the period. Bresler leads Elmira in goals with 14 and is
fourth in the conference in goals scored.
Steph Moon-Plattsburgh State
Junior, Center, Allison Park, Pa./Ohio Flames
Moon led the Cardinals with six points on a goal and five assists
to help top-ranked Plattsburgh State sweep an ECAC West series from
Cortland, 8-1, and 6-1. Her week included single-game career highs
of four assists and five points in Friday's seven-goal victory
against the Red Dragons. She also had four shots and a plus-5
rating. She boosted her career highs to seven goals, 16 assists and
23 points on the season, ranking third in team scoring and first in
assists.
Lynny Gonzales-Utica
Junior, Forward, Rochester, N.Y./New Hampton
School
Gonzales netted two goals in the Pioneers 3-2 overtime loss on
Friday night. She netted the game-tying goal for Utica with 17
seconds left in regulation to send the contest into overtime
Friday. She currently leads the team with 23 points on 12 goals and
11 assists this season
