Laurie Bowler has Record Tying Week to Secure Player of the Week Honors

Player of the Week

Laurie Bowler-Plattsburgh State
Senior, Forward, Brantford, Ontario/Burlington Barracudas

Bowler scored four of Plattsburgh's nine goals on the weekend to help the Cardinals sweep No. 4-ranked RIT at home by scores of 4-3 and 5-2. She scored a power play goal in Friday's one-goal win to tie the NCAA Division III all-time record of 29, giving her 100th career point. Then she scored a hat-trick in Saturday's three-goal victory.

Goalie of the Week

Brenn Scott-Chatham
Senior, Parker, Colo.

Scott had two wins over Oswego this weekend. She had a shutout on Saturday and 30 saves on Sunday for a 4-2 win.

Rookie of the Week

Kailyn Murray-Buffalo State
Forward, Medicine Hat, Alberta/Warner Hockey School

Murray scored twice including the game-winner and an empty-netter to clinch a 3-1 victory over Utica on Friday. 

Honor Roll

Jenna McCall-Elmira
Senior, Forward, Thamesford, Ontario/Bluewater Hawks (PWHL)

McCall had a breakout weekend as Elmira hosted SUNY Potsdam in two ECAC West games.  In game one McCall earned three assists as Elmira won 7-2.  In game two she tallied a hat-trick as she scored three goals and added an assist.  After this weekend she now leads the team in points with 19 and in assist with 12. 

Jill DeBus-Elmira
Freshman, Forward, Howell, Mich./Little Caesars (TOEHL)

DeBus had a solid week for Elmira as she earned 4 points in three games.  She scored Elmira's lone goal in a 3-1 loss to number on Amherst College.  In game one against SUNY Potsdam, DeBus earned two assists and in game two she tallied an assist.  She is fourth on the team in points with 14.

Jessica Schroeder-Neumann
Junior, Forward, Sudbury, Ontario/Sudbury Wolves

Schroeder picked up five points in a weekend sweep of ECAC West foe Cortland State. In a 3-2 overtime win on Friday, the junior dished out assists on all three goals. On Saturday, she added two goals. Currently, Schroeder ranked #2 in the country in total points per game (10-22-32 & 1.88 per game) and #1 in the country in assists per game (22 & 1.29 per game).

Mandy Mackrell-Plattsburgh State,
Junior, Goalie, Cleveland, Ohio/Ohio Flames 

Mackrell backstopped the Cardinals to a pair of ECAC-West victories against RIT. She had a career-high 32 saves on Friday and then posted 30 the next day. She had a save percentage of .925 in facing 67 shots, improving her conference-leading record to 9-1-1 (.864).
