Carolyn Fauteux of Neumann College Named ECAC Women's West Player of the Week Presented By Turfer Athletic

Player of the Week

Carolyn Fauteux, Neumann College
Senior, Forward - Aurora, Ontario/Markham-Stouffville Stars

Fauteux guided the Knights in a two game sweep of Chatham University. In game one, she scored a goal and two assists in a 6-3 win over the cougars. In game two, she added another goal and two assists for six points on the weekend.

Goalie of the Week

Danielle Beattie, Plattsburgh State
Junior, Goalie - Brooklin, Ontario/Aurora Panthers

Beattie stopped 36 of 38 shots for a .947 save percentage in two victories at Utica. She had 18 saves in a 3-0 win to earn her fourth career shutout. She is currently 10-1 with a 1.18 goals-against average and .929 save percentage.

Rookie of the Week

Jessica Schroeder, Neumann College
Forward - Sudbury, Ontario/Sudbury Wolves

Schroeder led the Knights in a weekend sweep of Chatham. The rookie posted one goal and one assist in a 6-3 win, including the game winner. In game two, Schroeder netted three goals for her first career hat trick, adding one assist. On the weekend, the forward scored five goals and added two assists for a seven points.

Honor Roll

Mary Cohen, Buffalo State
Senior, Defense - Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer

Cohen recorded her first points of the season in Friday's 4-2 win over Adrian, tallying a goal and an assist, and then scored the Bengals' lone goal in Saturday's 1-1 tie.

Shannon Anesetti, Buffalo State
Senior, Goalie - Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan

Anesetti posted a win and a tie against visiting Adrian over the weekend, turning aside 48 of the 51 (.941 save percentage) shots she faced. She made 22 saves in a 4-2 win on Friday, and had 26 stops in Saturday's 1-1 tie. She has a 2.20 GAA and a .926 save percentage on the season.

Shannon Hakes, Cortland State
Freshman, Forward - Rochester, NY/Rochester Edge

Hakes compiled three goals and one assist in a pair of road games last weekend. In a 7-3 setback versus Division I Sacred Heart on Friday, Hakes collected a goal and an assist. She followed that up with a pair of goals in an 8-0 victory at Plymouth St. For the season, Hakes has seven points on five goals and two assists.
