Cape Cod, Mass. - The 2008 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Final Four is set to begin on Friday, March 21 in Plattsburgh N.Y.  The Plattsburgh State Cardinals will be hosting the Final Four for the third straight year with all games being played at the Stafford Ice Arena.

On Friday, March 21 Manhattanville College (23-6-0) will take on Wisconsin-Superior (23-4-1) at 3:30 p.m. in the first National Semifinal. The Valiants beat Middlebury 4-3 in overtime in their first round game to punch their ticket to Plattsburgh. Wisconsin-Superior topped Gustavus Adolphus 3-1 in opening round action on their way to Plattsburgh.

The second National Semifinal will take place on Friday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. and will feature ECAC Women's West rivals Plattsburgh State (23-3-1) and Elmira College (22-5-1). Elmira skated to a 3-2 victory over Amherst College in their first round game. Plattsburgh received a buy into the Semifinals, and the game versus Elmira will be their first in this year's NCAA tournament. The game will mark the fourth time these two teams have met this year. In the regular season the two teams tied 2-2 in the first meeting, with Cardinals edging the Soaring Eagles 4-3 the following day. In the ECAC Women's West Tournament final the Purple and Gold beat Plattsburgh 1-0 to win the Women's West tournament title.

An NCAA Champion will be decided when the two semifinal winners meet on Saturday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. The third place game will take place on Saturday as well, with the puck set to be dropped at 3:30 p.m.

All games will feature a live web broadcast to be provided by the NCAA and CBS College Sports Network. The feed will be available by clicking the "Live Game Streaming" link on ncaa.com.

Tickets for the weekend are currently on sale at Plattsburgh at the Angell College Center Information Desk. Tickets can be purchased from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Cash, checks, and major credits card are all accepted as form of payment.

All-session tickets can be purchased for $20 for adults and $10 for students who have a valid school ID.  Day passes are on sale for $12 for adults and $6 for student.
